Kitchen Innovations™ area.
People were amazed to see the Silar® Microwave Grill cook 50-second paninis and were impressed watching the Silar® Microwave Flatstone cook 80-second pizzas.
Also impressive was the perfect presentation, crisp texture, and great taste produced by using the Silar® microwave absorbent cooking surface.

to its new location at 1446 South Buncombe Road, Greer, SC. Upon completion of the initial phase of construction,
the company will have manufacturing operations at both 1446 and 1525 South Buncombe Road.
ACM, LLC congratulates its builder, Cunningham-Waters Construction Company, Inc. of Greer, SC,
and all of their subcontractors for going above and beyond the call of duty to get us moved in ahead of schedule. We also thank our
construction management company, Matrix Real Estate Services, of Charlotte, NC,
for their guidance and expertise. Last but not least, the move would not have been made possible without our outstanding plant contractors,

InnoVision Technology Awards, sponsored by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, is the premier awards program designed to recognize successful, innovative, commercial applications introduced into the marketplace. ACM, LLC’s Silar® Microwave Absorbent Ceramic technology was selected as a finalist application.
08/09/2007 (Greer, SC) Company officials announce plans for a major plant expansion for Advanced Composite Materials, LLC, which will include a new company headquarters and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to be built in Greer.
08/02/2007 (International Microwave Power Institute Proceedings from the 41st Annual Microwave Symposium, Vancouver, BC) A novel composite structure for microwave heating has been developed. These structures are ceramic in nature, highly microwave absorbent and heatable, and are designed and engineered for use as heating elements in microwave ovens. ACM believes Silar® ceramic composites will open up a new technology and methodology for microwave heating and cooking.
07/26/2006 (Greer, SC) Management announces completion of the buyout of Advanced Composite Materials Corporation from Tateho Chemical Industries Company, Ltd. of Japan. The Greer company will continue operations under its new name of Advanced Composite Materials, LLC.
